Southwest Prairie Outfitters offers a relaxed, private catch-and-release fishing experience on multiple stocked ponds located on the ranch. With easy access from the lodge, this is a perfect add-on to a hunt or a standalone trip for anglers looking to unplug.

Ponds hold largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and channel catfish. Fishing is productive from the shoreline, dock, or small craft like jon boats with electric trolling motors, kayaks, or canoes. Standard tackle (plastic worms, small jigs, spoons) and live bait both produce well.

Pricing

3-Day Fishing Package with Lodging: $1,000 per fisherman

• Group size: Minimum 2 / Maximum 6 anglers

Equipment & Catch Policies

• Max two lines (rods/reels) per angler, with up to two hooks per line
• Catch & Release required for bass to protect trophy quality
• Catch & Keep may be allowed for panfish (e.g., bluegill) depending on current populations

Not Included

• Fishing rods, reels, tackle, or bait
• Fishing licenses (if required by state law)
• Boats or kayaks beyond what’s available onsite
• Transportation to/from lodge or airport
• Airfare and personal expenses
